LOVED our stay at the Nauti Otter!! We stayed in the humpback shack and the cabin was so cozy and the bedding was incredibly comfortable - you will get a great nights sleep! The staff was friendly and informative. The kitchen was fully equipped including a stove, oven, all cooking equipment, full size fridge to store some (labeled!) groceries and ice available for drinks / water bottles.

The staff was friendly and informative. The kitchen was fully equipped including a stove, oven, all cooking equipment, full size fridge to store some (labeled!) groceries and ice available for drinks / water bottles. The breakfast was lovely - complimentary tea, coffee, and waffles! The showers had plenty of hot water and a quick little cleaning protocol afterwards that made it feel hygienic to use communal showers! Only a 10-15 min drive from all the amenities of Seward and plenty of hiking trails. Great camp fire area with plenty of wood provided. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

We booked last minute due to bad weather for camping in a tent. We booked at the yurt village and we stayed in the halibut room. Neither of us had stayed in a yurt before and we absolutely loved the experience. The themed rooms were the coolest part of the experience for us personally. We enjoyed the extra touch of the fish themed decor, books and puzzle. The yurt was very warm, definitely nicer than a tent...

Neither of us had stayed in a yurt before and we absolutely loved the experience. The themed rooms were the coolest part of the experience for us personally. We enjoyed the extra touch of the fish themed decor, books and puzzle. The yurt was very warm, definitely nicer than a tent during all of the rain. The kitchen and the ability to cook your own breakfast was a nice touch. Yurt village was harder to find compared to the inn. However, we were very fortunate that an employee saw us pass the inn and she helped us with directions. If we are ever are in Seward again we would definitely look into staying here, 100% will recommend!

I booked rather last minute as I prefer to travel by the seat of my pants. My host was incredibly welcoming and understanding and helped me navigate to the location. Even called to be sure I could find the place ok! My first thing traveling to the land of the midnight sun, and we were quite thrown off by all the new everything. When my accommodations had some last minute troubles (door was not cooperating fully, though still worked. Just a bit difficult to open sometimes) I was offered an upgrade at no additional charge! And when my plans changed again and I was interested in another night, let me keep the room and rate for my 2nd night. If that wasn't enough, I was gifted a sticker for my travel journal, and a Men of Alaska calendar. This is now my 3rd year ordering the calendar *because* of my amazing host and accommodations. I can't recommend more highly staying at The Naughty Otter! I'm trying to convince my group to come back for a retreat in the yurts in 2027! What a joy it would be!
